‘Alien: Romulus’ Sets Date for Digital and Physical Releases
'Alien: Romulus' hits streamers on Oct. 15 before getting 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD releases on Dec. 3.
The seventh installment in the 45-year “Alien” film series hits Prime Video, Apple TV and Fandango at Home on Oct. 15 ahead of its 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD release on Dec. 3. “I just have to lay there and scream.” She subsequently reveals the movie magic involved in bringing a chest-bursting sequence to life, including building a fake torso and assembling a team of puppeteers to pilot the creature through “the little door that is [her] busted ribs.” Directed by Fede Álvarez, “Alien: Romulus” follows a group of young laborers who decide to scavenge parts from an abandoned spaceship orbiting above their off-world mining colony.
