‘Ahsoka’ Composers Reveal How Music Connects Series to Anakin Skywalker and Darth Vader
'Ahsoka's connection to Anakin and ultimately Darth Vader were aided by 'Star Wars' scores.
When he learned he was going to be part of Disney+’s “Ahsoka” and he would take the former Jedi from animation to live action, he wanted audiences to understand that she was a veteran warrior. Additionally, she’s a character trained by Anakin (Hayden Christensen), who later becomes Darth Vader, so she is in a constant state of being worried that she will end up embracing the dark side of the Force. “Deana found this tourist flute in Hawaii for $8, and it wound up making a lush, overtone percussive sound,” the elder Kiner explains.
