Hulkling was almost in Agatha All Along! Showrunner Jac Schaeffer reveals why Wiccan’s most iconic love interest was scrapped from the hit series.

Ever since Joe Locke was all but confirmed to be cast as Wiccan in Agatha All Along, Marvel fans have been counting down the days until news drops about Hulkling joining the MCU. When speaking about Marvel’s guiding hand when developing the series, the showrunner revealed that she originally wanted Hulkling to appear as Wiccan’s boyfriend in the show. Agatha All Along was already stuffed to the brim, and trying to force in the history of the Kree and Skrulls in the MCU, as well as trying to make their relationship mean anything more than fan-service likely would’ve been too much for even a skilled showrunner like Jac Schaeffer to handle.
