‘Adolescence’ Director Philip Barantini Sells Stake of Production Company to Avalon
The production and management giant has bought a minority stake in It's All Made Up Productions, founded by Barantini and Samantha Beddoe
The partnership, which began discussions last year, sees the emerging indie align with the British talent management and independent production giant. The slate will focus on TV drama, film and documentaries with Barantini and Beddoe asserting that they will be committed to championing lesser-known and underrepresented voices and stories. Barantini began his film and television career acting in acclaimed dramas “Band of Brothers,” “Dream Team,” “Chernobyl” and films including “Ned Kelly,” before moving behind the camera to direct the multi-award-winning feature “Boiling Point” and TV shows such as “The Responder,” “Malpractice,” “Accused” and the four-part “Boiling Point” spin-off.
