‘A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead’ Video Game Will Measure How Loud You Are With Your Controller’s Microphone
The upcoming video game "A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead" will immerse players in its universe through a real-life sound detection component.
The single-player horror game, inspired by Paramount Pictures’ critically acclaimed franchise “A Quiet Place,” will include an optional microphone feature that allows the series’ deadly creatures to pick up on any noise made by gamers. The title from Saber Interactive and developer Stormind Games follows Alex, a young college student suffering from asthma and struggling to survive the end of the world alongside her boyfriend, Martin. “The Road Ahead” is the latest entry in the world of the post-apocalyptic horror franchise, which released its third film, the prequel “A Quiet Place: Day One,” earlier this year.
