‘A Quiet Place: Day One’ Sets Paramount+ Premiere Date

'A Quiet Place: Day One' has locked an exclusive August streaming premiere on Paramount+, the streaming service of Paramount Global.

Directed by Pig’s Michael Sarnoski, and starring Lupita Nyong’o and Joseph Quinn, it hits streaming following a late June theatrical release which saw the film open to nearly $100 million worldwide, in a franchise best. Grossed over $261 million worldwide to date, A Quiet Place: Day One watches as Samira (Nyong’o) returns home to New York City, seeing her simple trip turn into a harrowing nightmare when mysterious creatures that hunt by sound attack. Sarnoski’s screenplay stemmed from his and franchise architect John Krasinski’s story, which was based on characters created by Bryan Woods & Scott Beck.
