Vespa/WireImage Deadline has confirmed that Danny Boyle and Alex Garland are reuniting for 28 Years Later, a new thriller based off the 2002 film about a rage virus that overtakes civilization. The package is a new trilogy based on the world established in the 2002 original ( 28 Days Later) and its 2007 sequel ( 28 Weeks Later). The latter is a division of former studio Twentieth Century Fox, which originally backed the films.
