‘1923’ Kills Off 7 Characters — And a Horse — in Pre-Finale Bloodbath
Paramount+'s 'Yellowstone' prequel '1923' killed off five more characters after two were already confirmed dead earlier in season 2
Jack Dutton ( Darren Mann) was shot by strangers who worked for Banner ( Jerome Flynn) while Runs His Horse ( Michael Spears) was killed by Renaud ( Sebastian Roché). Elsewhere in the episode, Paul ( Augustus Prew) and Hillary ( Janet Montgomer y) froze to death while trying to help the pregnant Alex ( Julia Schlaepfer) travel to find the Dutton home in Montana. The fictional mass casualties come ahead of 1923 ‘s two-part finale, which will pick up as the Duttons — Jacob ( Harrison Ford), Cara ( Helen Mirren) and Spencer ( Brandon Sklenar) — face the loss of Jack as their ranch continues to be attacked.
