‘1923’ Adds Jennifer Carpenter To Season 2
Jennifer Carpenter has been cast in the Paramount+ series '1923' in a recurring role for Season 2.
She will portray ‘Mamie Fossett,’ a highly capable U.S. Deputy Marshall who serves warrants and makes arrests with confidence ahead of her time. Season 1 starred Helen Mirren, Harrison Ford, Brandon Sklenar, Aminah Nieves, Brian Geraghty, Sebastian Roche, Jennifer Ehle, Marley Shelton and Robert Patrick, among others. The series follows a secret operative (Carpenter) who, after a mission is compromised, is forced into a psychological game of cat and mouse with her own mind while being hunted down by the very program that created her.
