Nate Dogg was one of the most influential music stars of the 90s, but his death at just 41 shocked fans - and his biggest hot is still being celebrated 30 years on

Nate Dogg and his lifelong friend Warren G collaborated on the track which was the biggest success of his career and fans have been marking 30 years since its release - while paying tribute to the influential singer, who died aged just 41. He was born Nathaniel Dwayne Hale and had formed the group 213, named after his local area code, with his high school friends Snoop Doggy Dogg and Warren G. They were signed by Dr Dre for Death Row Records and Nate Dogg went on to work with his former school friends many times over his life, but his collaboration with Warren G on Regulate was known as one of the most popular hip-hop songs of the era.
