In a lawsuit filed Sunday, Jay-Z and imprisoned rap mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, both 55, were accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl at an afterparty that followed the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards. 50 CentBigBoyTV/YouTubeJay-Z said in a statement issued to Us Weekly on Sunday, “My wife and I will have to sit our children down, one of whom is at the age where her friends will surely see the press and ask questions about the nature of these claims, and explain the cruelty and greed of people.” 50 Cent, who has been involved in numerous legal battles of his own over the years, also suggested that often with misconduct allegations like the one Jay and Diddy are facing, “It isn’t what you did.
