The sale comes after what was supposedly a massive bidding war from several competing streaming agencies to get the rights to release the doc on the embattled Bad Boy Records mogul. No word on which networks and streaming services were involved, but we have a feeling that if there was a bidding war and a brand as big as Netflix came away the winner, all the biggest players in the broadcast world were probably at the table. In fact, that timing likely helped pump the price on the bidding war to the point where execs from lots of networks wanted a piece of the action before Netflix came away the big winner.
