Daredevil, the first of those series, received critical acclaim for its gritty look, its shockingly violent fight sequences and the stellar performances from Charlie Cox(as blind hero Matt Murdock) and Vincent D’Onofrio(as criminal mastermind Wilson Fisk). That unevenness shows at times, but the fantastic performances from Cox, D’Onofrio and Jon Bernthal(reprising his role as the Punisher from Daredevil season 2) promise a bright future for this corner of the Marvel universe.
