3Point0 Labs Signs Latino-Focused Luz Films
3Point0 Labs has signed newly formed producer Latino-focused production company Luz Films.
Headed by Sergio Lira, Lynette Coll and Cristobal Güell, Luz was created with a mission to make Latino-focused prestige and elevated-genre content from diverse creatives and producers in the film and TV space. Notably, it co-financed and co-produced In the Summers, which was written and directed by first-time filmmaker Alessandra Lacorazza and stars René Pérez Joglar (aka Residente), Sasha Calle, Lio Mehiel and Leslie Grace. For 3Point0 Labs, which former CAA agent and current Francis Ngannou manager Marquel Martin founded, the deal comes after it acquired digital agency Thirty Three Media and launched a talent and literary advisory division with the signing of The Black Book producer Anakle Films.
