Graduate student Mady ( Jonathan Feltre) is a locksmith who reluctantly accepts Claire’s ( Natacha Krief) desperate late-night request to unlock an empty apartment so she can grab a bag. That’s easier said than done, as the city is on lockdown due to a massive Black Lives Matter protest, and one of Yannick’s henchmen, Theo ( Jonas Bloquet), is involved with Claire and doesn’t want his boss to know he’s stolen from him. Nine Perfect Strangers is like HBO and Max’s hit series The White Lotus, except it’s not quite as good, leans more on shock value, and relies on stunt casting to attract viewers.
