It holds a 96 percent on Rotten Tomatoes and tells the story of a lonely lottery winner named Charles ( Tim Key) who uses his winnings to stage a private show on the small, isolated Welsh island where he lives. As Charles attempts to reunite the musicians — struggling solo artist Herb McGwyer ( Tom Basden) and musical retiree Nell Mortimer ( Carey Mulligan) — all three of them are forced to confront the emotions they’ve been running away from.
