Netflix's stellar May 2025 shows include 'The Four Seasons' with Tina Fey and Steve Carell, 'Sirens' and the mystery series 'Dept. Q'
The streamer has assembled an impressive lineup of actors as well, with Tina Fey, Steve Carell, Colman Domingo, Will Forte and more taking on the roles once played by Alan Alda, Carol Burnett, Rita Moreno and others. Q doesn’t stray too much from the U.K. crime mystery formula: there’s a haunted detective as a lead character, moody shots of an imposing urban city and a motley crew of cops who all offer colorful commentary on the latest case. But the series is created by Scott Frank, who wrote and directed the excellent crime thrillers The Lookout and A Walk Among the Tombstones, and his involvement promises to separate Dept.
