Not that it was unimportant, but it simply mattered a hell of a lot less than ‘feeling unsafe and wanting a better income.’ You hate to hear it, I know you do, and I’ll be told to fuck right off, but as an outsider, I am telling you how it is in my own country. Fix the ‘feeling’ for safety and make food and rent affordable and people will be as tolerant as you can dream. And maybe, just maybe, the Democratic or left-leaning voters could stop focusing on small things and in-fighting and UNITE.
