Billie Eilish, Snoop Dogg with Dr. Dre and the Red Hot Chili Peppers entertained for the closing celebration of the Olympics, which will next be hosted in Los Angeles. With all three acts representing the state — Eilish is from Highland Park, Snoop and Dre are a cornerstone of West Coast rap, and the Chili Peppers formed in L.A. — the star-studded lineup on a beachside stage was a nod to the city hosting the 2028 Summer Olympics. And in a nod to the Olympics in Hollywood, Tom Cruise pulled a stunt at the Paris festivities in which he descended from the top of the Stade de France to the “Mission Impossible” theme song.
