2023 Most Popular Baby Names Released - and Classic Favorite Is Ousted from Boys’ Top 10
The Social Security Administration revealed that 'Mateo' entered the list of top ten boys' names for the first time, and the names 'Liam' and 'Olivia' continued their streak at the top.
Mateo popped in for the first time on the top 10 list for boys' names at number six. There were no changes to the top names for boys and girls — Liam and Olivia — which have spent multiple years in a row at number one. The SSA noted that social media stars had a “major influence” on parents when it came to naming their little ones, as the name Kaeli — inspired by TikTok influencer Kaeli Mae — went viral, rising 1,692 spots on the list.
