Larry June and The Alchemist have been frequent collaborators over the years, but they brought an unlikely running mate into the mix, when joining forces with 2 Chainz earlier this month for Life Is Beautiful. The 11-track LP provided a serene expedition, matching the project’s nautical sun-kissed cover art, and gave the trio an early rap album of the year contender in what serves as Chainz’ first endeavor since leaving Def Jam after two decades.
