Netflix ‘s most popular movies this week include a pair of films that are celebrating their respective anniversaries by finding a bigger audience in the streaming era than they ever had in theaters. George Clooney‘s 2010 thriller, The American, is one of the great movies arriving on Netflix this month, and it gave him a chance to play a much darker character than usual. Trainwreck: Mayor of Mayhem is the Cliff Notes version of Ford’s years in power, which were marked by episodes of public intoxication, obvious signs of drug addiction and a propensity to say the most politically incorrect or sexist things that ever came across his mind.
