MGK‘s next album will be a tribute to 'Lost Americana,' as confirmed by one of the genre's brightest, Bob Dylan, in the project’s teaser trailer.
Bob Dylan narrates the trailer for MGK ‘s upcoming “Lost Americana” album, sources confirm to Variety. “It’s a sonic map of forgotten places, a tribute to the spirit of reinvention and a quest to reclaim the essence of American freedom,” says Dylan as a VHS montage of the 35 year-old, sometimes-rapper, sometimes-rocker in the studio and overlooking mountaintops. In February, Dylan posted a 2016 video of the Cleveland-bred artist performing at the Orlando, Florida, record shop Park Ave CDs without a caption.
