Yello Will Go From Cult Classic to Cultural Marvel in ‘Oh Yeah’ Documentary

Yello documentary about Eighties hit 'Oh Yeah' that appeared in 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off' has been acquired by Rolling Stone Films and Documentary+.

It also appeared in an ad campaign for Twix, soundtracked the Duff Beer mascot Duffman in The Simpsons, and inspired an impromptu cover performance in It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. The documentary will contextualize the lasting impact of the record with commentary from Ferris Bueller actor Alan Ruck, musician and comedian Reggie Watts, as well as music supervisor Tarquin Gotch. “The film dives into the eccentric genius of Yello, while celebrating the innovation and unforgettable weirdness that turned two simple words into an indelible pop culture moment.”
