At the end of Mark's video, he said: 'I've been receiving a lot of positivity online and as much as I've been on a bit of a social media detox, I have jumped on a couple of times and I just wanted to say a huge heartfelt thank you for all of the amazing messages.' Following their formation in 1998, Mark enjoyed huge success with Nicky Bryne, Shane Filan, and Kian Egan, before taking a step back in February 2024 due to his ill health (pictured in 2023) Confirming his temporary hiatus from the band, he added: 'It is with the upmost level of regret that I must now temporarily stand down from all Westlife touring until a time ote: that I have had the chance to fully recover from the turbulent journey I have been through as an individual.
