Verve Signs ‘We Were Liars’ Author E. Lockhart
'We Were Liars' author E. Lockhart has signed with Verve for representation across film and television.
Currently, Lockhart is exec producing and writing on Prime Video’s #1 series We Were Liars, based on her 2014 YA novel of the same name, having written the Season 1 finale. We Were Liars centers on Cadence Sinclair, a teenage girl from a wealthy family who has spent her summers on a private island off the coast of Massachusetts. Cadence is recovering from a mysterious injury she sustained during the summer prior, and suffers from amnesia, unable to remember the events leading up to the accident.
