UTA Signs Director D.J. Caruso
Filmmaker D.J. Caruso has signed with UTA for representation in all areas, Deadline can exclusively reveal.
Caruso launched his career directing standout episodes of television including The Shield, Steven Spielberg’s High Incident, and James Cameron’s Dark Angel, before making his feature debut with The Salton Sea, a critically acclaimed crime thriller starring Val Kilmer. In 2017, Caruso revived the xXx action franchise with The Return of Xander Cage, which grossed over $347 million worldwide and featured a global ensemble led by Vin Diesel, Donnie Yen, and Samuel L. Jackson. Additional credits include Taking Lives(Warner Bros.) starring Angelina Jolie and Ethan Hawke; Two for the Money(Universal) with Al Pacino and Matthew McConaughey; and the indie drama Standing Up.
