UTA Signs ‘Köln 75’ Filmmaker Ido Fluk


Ido Fluk, the writer-director of music drama 'Köln 75,' has signed with UTA for representation.

The film follows Vera Brandes, who, in 1975 and at the age of 18, staged the famous Köln Concert by jazz musician Keith Jarrett. Fluk is currently developing the bestselling 2013 novel Empty Mansions as a series for HBO, in collaboration with Fremantle’s Dante Di Loreto, Jeffrey Levine, and Joe Wright. A sought-after screenwriter, he’s also developing projects for Vendome (with Oren Moverman), The Story Collective, and Cosmopolitan Pictures out of the UK, as well as James Schamus and Joe Pirro’s Symbolic Exchange, and submarine thriller, Ivy Bells, with Michael Maher and Augenschein.
