Tubi Rescues ‘Demascus’: Sci-Fi Comedy Series To Launch On Free Streamer Two Years After Being Pulled By AMC
It comes two years after AMC Networks canceled the show from Tearrance Arvelle Chisholm and Better Call Saul exec producer Mark Johnson.
DemascusAMC Studios EXCLUSIVE: Demascus, the sci-fi comedy series from playwright Tearrance Arvelle Chisholm and Better Call Saul exec producer Mark Johnson, has finally find a home. Okieriete Onaodowan ( Station 19) plays Demascus with Janet Hubert ( The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air), Caleb Eberhardt ( Judas and the Black Messiah), Shakira Ja’nai Paye ( Single Drunk Femal e) also starring with Martin Lawrence in a recurring role. “We’re excited to introduce audiences to Demascus — a bold, genre-bending blend of comedy and sci-fi that challenges conventions as much as it entertains,” said Samuel Harowitz, SVP of Content Acquisition and Partnerships at Tubi.
