Reality TV favourite Chloe Meadows has opened up about her fears of the medical world, confessing she delayed seeking help for what turned out to be a severe gut issue because she was "scared" of doctors and dreaded "having any procedure done". Individuals with ulcerative colitis can experience periods ranging from weeks to months with little to no symptoms (remission), only to face flare-ups and relapses, as outlined on the NHS website.
