Law, a humble legal secretary who wasn't afraid to stand up to her boss, divorce lawyer Arnie Becker, played by Corbin Bernsen. Prior to her breakout role as Rosalind Shays, Ruttan first earned recognition playing the scheming wife of a rival dry cleaner on The Jeffersons which ran from 1975 to 1985.
