The Pitt’s Tracy Ifeachor Departs the Show Ahead of Second Season: 'It Was an Absolute Privilege to Play Dr. Heather Collins'

Tracy Ifeachor will not return to 'The Pitt' for its upcoming second season. The HBO Max's series' season 2 is currently in production and is set to air in January 2026.

Ifeachor hinted that she was leaving with an Instagram video on Wednesday, July 9, in which she bid farewell to her character, Dr. Heather Collins. Ifeachor starred on the hit medical procedural for its debut season as one of two senior residents in the ER alongside Noah Wyle’s character, attending Dr. Michael "Dr. Robby" Robinavitch. The Pitt season 1 also starred Patrick Ball, Katherine LaNasa, Supriya Ganesh, Fiona Dourif, Taylor Dearden, Isa Briones, Gerran Howell, Shabana Azeez and Shawn Hatosy.
