The Nacelle Company Reviving ‘Wild West C.O.W.-Boys of Moo Mesa’ as Animated Series (EXCLUSIVE)
The Nacelle Company will revive the '90s show 'Wild West C.O.W.-Boys of Moo Mesa' as an animated series.
First introduced in 1991 by “ Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ” artist Ryan Brown, “C.O.W.-Boys of Moo Mesa” inspired a toy line, a Saturday morning cartoon on ABC, comic books, and an arcade game. Set in the 1800s, the show followed a group of bovine lawmakers, including Marshal Moo Montana, Cowlorado Kid, and Dakota Dude as they served up frontier justice and protect CowTown from crooked Mayor Oscar Bulloney, ruthless Sheriff Terrorbull, and a rogue gallery of outlaw varmints. Nacelle, in collaboration with Oni Press, will also be launching “C.O.W.-Boys of Moo Mesa: Origins ” in September, a four-issue comic miniseries that will look at how the C.O.W.-Boys first teamed up after a mysterious Great Comet “cow-metized” the Western plains.
