The Bear Recap: Leave It All on the Dance Floor

With less than one day left on the Computer’s clock, the Bear faces epic uncertainty.

He tells Syd — who’s fresh off a pretty weird nightmare, by the way — that she’s making “a truly idiotic decision” and “choosing to stay on a ship that’s literally sinking,” and while the latter might technically be true, he can fuck right off with that noise. We already knew that Claire was the other side of Carmy’s fucked-up coin, and though he did her so dirty they didn’t talk for months, it seems like him showing up at her place and then however much time they spent together at the wedding might be speeding them toward reconciliation. Cicero, it seems, is pacing the parking lot weighing what to do — crush his niece and nephew’s dreams or save himself from potential ruin — but I’d like to hope that he’ll come to the same conclusion about the Bear that Natalie does: They should keep going because, when you’re a family, you stick it out no matter what.
