BBC commentator Andrew Castle and viewers alike were left stunned when Sue Barker made a surprise appearance at Wimbledon. The former French Open champion, who reached the semi-finals of Wimbledon during her playing days, was spotted in the Centre Court crowd as Cameron Norrie bowed out to Carlos Alcaraz, dashing British singles hopes. Sue, who became synonymous with Wimbledon coverage after anchoring the BBC's broadcasts for 22 years, had stepped back from her presenting duties but made a return for an on-court interview with Andy Murray during his last tournament appearance.
