Sony Pictures Television Takes Global On Peacock Series ‘The Miniature Wife’
Sony is distributing Peacock's 'The Miniature Wife' with Matthew Macfadyen and Elizabeth Banks, produced by Media Res.
Revealed by Deadline last year, The Miniature Wife is a high-concept comedy that examines the power imbalances between spouses—played by Banks ( PitchPerfect) and Macfadyen ( Succession, Deadpool & Wolverine)—who battle each other for supremacy after a technological accident induces the ultimate relationship crisis. Banks and Macfadyen are joined by Zoe Lister-Jones ( Slip, Beau is Afraid), Sofia Rosinsky ( Paper Girls, Death and Other Details), O-T Fagbenle ( The Handmaid’s Tale, Presumed Innocent), and Sian Clifford ( Fleabag, The Ballad of Wallis Island) as series regulars. The Miniature Wife is created by Jennifer Ames and Steve Turner ( Boardwalk Empire, Goliath), who serve as showrunners and executive producers.
