Sony Pictures Hires Ross Klein As SVP Domestic Sales

Most recently, he served as VP of Sales at Paramount Pictures, where he oversaw all theatrical distribution licensing for territories across the domestic market. During his 13-year tenure at the studio, he played a key role in the releases of blockbuster titles such as Top Gun: Maverick, Mission Impossible, Transformers, Sonic the Hedgehog, The Wolf of Wall Street, Interstellar, and A Quiet Place, among others. Sony Pictures’ upcoming slate includes the horror reboot I Know What You Did Last Summer, Darren Aronofsky’s crime thriller, Caught Stealing, starring Austin Butler, Regina King and Zoë Kravitz, Kogonada’s sweeping romantic epic, A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, starring Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell, the Japanese anime film Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, a direct sequel of the globally acclaimed television series of the same name, a Sisu sequel written and directed by visionary Finnish filmmaker Jalmari Helander, Scarlet a Japanese animated adventure from Oscar nominated filmmaker Mamoru Hosoda, the comedic reimagining of Anaconda, starring Jack Black and Paul Rudd, and Nai DaCosta’s 28 Years Later: Bone Temple, the second chapter in Danny Boyle and Alex Garland’s post-apocalyptic saga, among several other titles.
