Shane Hawkins Reveals Late Dad Taylor Hawkins’ Favorite Foo Fighters Song, And It’s Not the One You Think

Shane Hawkins revealed his late dad Taylor Hawkins' favorite Foo Fighters song to play and then sat in with Supergrass, one of his dad's top groups.

Though Shane said “Low” was his dad’s fave, after Hawkins’ death in March 2022 in Bogota, Colombia at age 50, Grohl would often dedicate the There Is Nothing Left to Lose track “Aurora” to their late bandmate during each show. During his trip to the U.K. Shane also sat in with one of his dad’s favorite bands, Supergrass, at the Great Estate Festival in Cornwall over the weekend.
