Sentimental Value Finds an Even Worse Person in the World
Joachim Trier’s Cannes breakout releases its first trailer.
Sentimental Value reunites the team behind the much-beloved 2021 film The Worst Person in the World, and that movie’s many fans will be running to the theater with a smile on their faces, just like Julie. Co-starring Stellan Skarsgård and Elle Fanning, Sentimental Value received rave reviews out of Cannes 2025, winning the Grand Prix. “Reinsve, with that phenomenally open, oval face, does an unreal job of transmitting emotions that Nora is barely aware that she’s feeling,” Vulture critic Alison Willmore wrote of the film.
