A heartfelt tribute occurred for racing greats Ayrton Senna and Roland Ratzenberger by four-time Formula 1 world champion Sebastian Vettel during the Showrun at Imola. The tribute was paid at that very place in Imola that will forever act as a reminder of the great tragic death of Senna and Ratzenberger during the 1994 San Marino GP. Another sarcastic remark came from George: “I’m surprised woke/racist @f1_vettel didn’t bend the knee like he did in 2020,” alluding to Vettel’s outspoken views on social justice and his kneeling gestures in support of the Black Lives Matter movement.
