The verdict is in for Sean 'Diddy' Combs’ sex trafficking trial after nearly two years of allegations and courtroom decisions
The trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs began in New York City on May 5 following his September 2024 arrest on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution. Assistant U.S. Attorney Emily Johnson said in the prosecution’s opening statement that some of the claims against Diddy might “be hard to hear” as she mentioned allegations of sexual assault, domestic violence and kidnapping. As the trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs kicked off in New York City, observers were surprised to hear the names of numerous other celebrities mentioned during jury selection and various witness testimonies.
