Sarah Ferguson says 'thank you' in heartfelt message after Liverpool parade crash


The Duchess of York issued a touching statement following the incident in Liverpool on Monday which left 65 people injured, saying: "My thoughts and prayers are with those affected"

A total of 65 individuals were hurt, including children, following the horrific event where a car ploughed into a crowd celebrating Liverpool Football Club's Premier League triumph. She posted an image of the iconic Liver Building bathed in red alongside a poignant note: "My thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by the distressing events at yesterday's Premier League title parade in Liverpool." King Charles also conveyed his admiration for Liverpool's community spirit and shared that he and Queen Camilla were "deeply shocked and saddened" by the tragic turn of events.
