Chatting with Vernon Kay on BBC's Tracks Of My Years, Kenny shared his pride in representing his country on such a grand stage - and recalled a memorable encounter with the Princess Royal, the current 74-year-old patron of The Murrayfield Injured Players Foundation, that brought him back down to earth. Princess Anne is poised to mark a milestone 75th birthday in August, opting for a low-key celebration by bringing together her numerous charitable organisations at Buckingham Palace.
