Rarely has there been a man of Isaacman’s standing who had the chore from the realm of politics and the claim of conflict of interest embroiling his relations between SpaceX and Elon Musk. Unlikely as such a proposal might be, it speaks major volumes about Musk’s influence in the discourse on space policy and the still-lingering notion of NASA’s bloated bureaucracy simply being too slow to keep pace with the speed of projects in the private sector.
