Poster Artist Drew Struzan Known for ‘Star Wars’ & ‘Harry Potter’ Art Battling Alzheimer’s

You have definitely seen at least one of his movie posters over the years.

Sadly, his wife recently confirmed that he is suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and is unable to work or even sign and remember the posters he’s done in the past. His wife, Dylan Struzan, wrote on Drew’s Facebook fan page, in part, “[T]he loss of coordination of moving the information from the brain to a functional expression short-changes abilities. Though he retired in 2008, he occasionally returned for special projects before his diagnosis, including posters for Star Wars: The Force Awakens and How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World.
