If anybody thought this was some sort of routine campaign visit, I’d ask them to reconsider; the comment-section exploded with outrage and outright mockery. The captioning accompanying the photo read: “The people of Oyen are fed up with paying more to get less thanks to runaway inflationary spending and high taxes from the Liberal government.” Poilievre went farther in promising “common sense policies” that would lead to “lower prices, bigger paycheques.” All in all, the common political rhetoric of Canada, right?
