Pearl Jam shocks fans as they reveal departure of beloved drummer Matt Cameron
A legendary musician from one of the 90s' most iconic rock bands has shocked fans with his departure after 27 years.
'Much love and respect to Jeff, Ed, Mike and Stone for inviting me into the band in 1998 and for giving me the opportunity of a lifetime, filled with friendships, artistry, challenges and laughter. The 90s grunge legends last performed on May 18, 2025, at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, United States, which concluded their Dark Matter World Tour. Pearl Jam broke through to music success in 1991 with debut album 10 - which stayed on the US Billboard 200 chart for nearly five years and was certified 13x platinum.
