Paramount Global, With Skydance Deal and Trump Lawsuit Pending, Names Three New Board Members for Election at July 2 Annual Meeting


With the Skydance deal pending, Paramount Global set a date for its 2025 annual meeting of stockholders and nominated three new board members.

But as the deal is still pending FCC approval, and with a potential settlement with Donald Trump in his lawsuit against “60 Minutes” looming, Paramount has set a date for its 2025 annual meeting of stockholders and nominated three new members to its board. The company has nominated three new directors: Mary Boies, counsel to Boies Schiller Flexner LLP; Charles E. Ryan, founder and general partner of Almaz Capital; and Roanne Sragow Licht, former judge and adjunct professor at Boston University and Roger Williams University. The current board members standing for reelection are Redstone, non-executive chair of Paramount Global; Barbara M. Byrne; Linda M. Griego; and Susan Schuman.
