A few words were left on the page for the tribute, making for an almost cloying moment of remembrance amid the indefinably broad nature of one man’s “verb” of fatherhood that spilled gratuitously beyond the borders of his family. Judging by those comments, more than a few modern conversations have been ignited, a good number of old wounds have been patched, and I wouldn’t be surprised if that has inspired the actions of some newly ingrained verbs today.
