OneRepublic Signs First New Record Deal in Nearly Two Decades

OneRepublic signed a new label deal with BMG, which will release the group's new song on July 25. The band was previously on Interscope.

The first new music under the pact, “Beautiful Colors,” will arrive on July 25 and serve as the inaugural single from the pop-rock group’s forthcoming seventh studio album. In addition to lead singer Tedder, OneRepublic includes guitarists Zach Filkins and Drew Brown, keyboardist Brian Willett, bassist and cellist Brent Kutzle, and drummer Eddie Fisher. Loba added in a statement, “OneRepublic is one of the most dynamic and enduring bands of the past two decades, with a global footprint that spans chart-topping hits, billions of streams, and a deep catalog of era-defining music.
